Function profile

As Finance Manager you are responsible for the design, execution and monitoring of the Planning- and Control Cycle, the system of accounting & internal control (AO/IC) across the entire location Maastricht as well as the timely and accurate budgeting for and reporting on the financial performance.

Furthermore, as Finance Manager you will manage a small team and you are part of the local Leadership Team with a reporting line to the Global Business Segment Controller. 
Your responsibilities:

  • Correct and timely closing of monthly and annual statements according to local law & US GAAP.
  • Statutory accounting and reporting.
  • Fixed assets, inventory accounting and product costing.
  • Cost accounting & reporting.
  • Accounts receivable.
  • Develop integrated budget aligned with BU controller and other stakeholders.
  • Tax compliance.
  • Support central treasury functions.
  • Managing a small team.
Function requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Controlling with a good feel for business.
  • At least 5 years of work experience within the Accounting & Controlling area.
  • Experience in SAP/R3.
  • As you are working in a small team hands-on mentality is expected.
  • Strong communication skills and a good level of Dutch & English (both spoken and written) German is a pre.
